That's what I did had my car units deactivated.
Big Stern fan here as well and Howard was the only reason I got Sirius.
I tired to listen to him. TO see what a lot of people were talking about.
But I couldn't do it. I just couldn't bring myself down to that level.
I'm not trying to slam or make fun of anyone that does listen to him.
Just IMHO..... his show seems to be aimed for those that are less than mature and more likely to be followers willing to let others form an opinion for them, instead of thinking for themselves.
Kind of like the same people that complain about what rights are being taken away and given to the police or about what politician is working for what corporation, but then do nothing about it but watch cartoons at night.
I actually didn't even know he was still on the radio.
But as I always say, to each his own....

Some people get Howard and some don't. Some people can't look past 10 minutes of blue humor sprinkled through a 4 hour program. Howard is the all time best interviewer. Gets more out of celebrities then any other profesional then any talkshow host or tv personality could ever. He says what most don't have the balls to say. Doesn't kiss anyones ass. And for those who think he is homophobic have never heard the show. George Takei from star trek is an openly gay man and regular contributor to the Howard stern program. He has also had openly gay interns work for him over the years. And those who think his audience are young kids, uneducated nonprofesionals are also dead wrong.

Whats funny is you have always been able to get stern on Sirius using music dock or pocket tunes. I've used it for the last couple years. Howard just never mentioned it and wasn't included in the Sirius app because he wasnt financially compensated for it. I still use music dock instead of the Sirius app because I hate the inactivity time out you get from the Sirius app.
Howard has never had an iPhone and has never said he hates them. He dies hate AT&T because he could never make any calls on his blackberry. And so far the only thing he uses his iPad for is to watch youporn when his wife isn't home lol

The new Windows phones are horrible. I had to use them at work and i was bored with them within 5 minutes. Not joking. When a flashlight app is touted as a feature, you know it's doomed to suck.
I get emails all the time to subscribe to sirius. Had it in my Truck for a year but didnt like it other than Howard and the NFL channell.
Ive got offers of 5 months for $20 but i just havent signed up. I used to download Howards shows but havent in a while, I listened to him for many years til a couple years ago. Shows used to go from 6AM to around 11- 11:30 AM
