I’m on the fence of getting a SSG series 5 to replace my SSSB series 3. I’ve read the PVD coating isn’t as resistant as the DLC on the SSSB. I’m afraid it is gonna get scratched up easily.

Can anyone chime in on how their SSG watches are holding up. Pics are welcome.

Terrific. Same as the day I bought it. I’ve even hit it against objects on occasion on accident. No case.

Nice to hear. I use it for the gym to and occasionally hit it on things by accident. The SSSB has held up well, but I’m still undecided lol

Any feedback from anyone that has both?

i slammed mine against a door really hard by accident and got some small scratches. But to me a worn stainless watch looks nice over time anyway.

Mine looks amazing. I ordered a S5 in the same GSS. I was worried that the gold coating would come off like a gold plated watch, but no, it looks like it did on day 1.

All good to hear!

I went from S0 SS to S2 SS to S3 SBSS then S4 Aluminium to save money and regretted it the last 11 months. Got a S5 SSG with Milanese on order and can't wait :)
