Really interested in getting the HP for my bedroom. Currently have a Monitor Audio S150 in there which has been a major disappointment.

Room is small. Not sure on exact size. Probably 10 feet x 9. How’s the sound quality from the HP in a small room? Thanks.

The HomePod has seven beamforming tweeters. Which is able to adapt with spatial awareness based on how the room is set up with directional control. I Imagine with a small room, the audio will sound fairly intense, of course there is no way of really knowing until you try it out. You would have at least 14 days to see if it something you would like.

It sounds pretty much the same. It adapts itself to its environment, and in my experience, it does so quite well.

I have two HomePods at either side of my iMac, in my home office, which is not a very large room. The sound is excellent. I have another HomePod in the bedroom, much larger. Sounds great there too.

I find the bass a little heavy for small rooms, keep it in the open away from walls as much as you can and it shouldn't be too bad. I moved mine away from walls and higher up (about 5 1/2') and it made the sound quality a lot better and reduced the bass a bit as well, but i would still like to reduce it a bit further.

Overall this is a very good speaker, but could be better if it had some settings so you could tailor it you your music listening preferences, but this may come in a future update with a bit off luck.
