Howto stream Photos with Firestream? Videos working fine

I don't use Apple products to manage my Photos. Howto stream them to AppleTV? I use Firestream to share Photos over UPnP but VLC and also Infuse (free editon) don't show the photos (always loading).

The photos have big resolution.
