HP Mediasmart server HP EX485 vs EX490

THere is a sale on the EX485 and just wondering if I should get it. I know the main differences between 485 and 490. The only reason I would get the 490 because it describes to have mac admistration, and able to collect IPhoto, Itunes files. Does anyone know if i get the 485, it is possible to upgrade to the 490 software?

I read that the new software will be available sometime this month for the older models for something like $30.
