I'm in desperate need of a second opinion. I've been shopping for an HP MINI to install osx on for about a week nonstop and am driving myself crazy. I'm stuck between getting an HP mini 1033CL or an HP mini 1120NR. Here's my take on it so far. Both are the same price refurbished from buy.com for 269.99, or i can get the 1120nr new for about 315 from JR with the live.com cashback.

1033 advantages
10.2" screen
60GB hard drive

1033 Drawbacks
Can't upgrade RAM above 1GB
Too expencive to buy new (about 370 or more)

1120 Advantages
Upgrade RAM to 2GB if needed
Good price for new

1120 drawbacks
16GB SSD
10.1" Screen

From what i've read, many people seem partial to the larger screen size. I think the pixel difference is 1024 x 576 vs 1024 x 600. Some people report with the smaller resolution some windows get cut off. But i'm scared buying refurbished, i feel like the battery will be used, and it already has a low battery life. New seems safer.

Somebody just tell me what to buy so I can stop thinking about it!

You'll want 2GB if you want to run OSX. That SSD can be upgraded. So, it just sounds like you need to decide if you can live with that screen resolution.
