Is this driver working in macOS Catalina or Mojave?

Don't install it in Catalina, connect the printer and let software update offer you the necessary driver. Maybe Apple has a newer version that hasn't been yet released as a standalone package.

I installed the drivers provided by HP under catalina and I find that they work better than those of Apple.

AirPrint does not enable Remote Scan on my machine. Installing the HP drivers also makes a Fax device available. Use it maybe once a year!
