I was looking at the 12" powerbook cases and it kinda dawned on me that it might just be possible to squish the macbook internals into one. The ports on the side are even similar in layout. I'm thinking I could probably make it work with a little bit of creativity. Can anyone think of any serious problems I might run into? The issues I can think of right now are:

a) battery placement
b) internal keyboard connection and power button
c) display connector

I'm sure I can make the latter 2 work with some creativity but I'm not sure about the battery... I think I can make the powerbook battery work too...

Any thoughts?

Issues you will run into, the MB logic board is probably too big to fit in the case, therefore end of the project.

I already checked into that, it's not to big... that was the first thing I checked... i'll probably lose the optical drive though.
