Hi there,

I am a multimedia student and I am using Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 to practice making websites.

But I am having an issue with Google Chrome reading my HTML files. I test my sites on all the other browsers I have (Safari, Firefox, Oprah etc), these all display my websites stored on my usb flash drive fine, but Google Chrome won't.

The interesting thing is this is only happening to the Mac version. In collage we have Google Chrome from Windows and I don't have this problem.

The version of Chrome I am using is: Version 30.0.1599.101 (which is the latest version for Mac) and I use HTML5 and CSS3

Any suggestions would be helpful.

So not working as in the files aren't being read in at all?

If that's the case, have you tried copying them to a local folder and reading them from there?

Is the Windows version of Chrome you have at college installed on a usb flash drive or installed on the computers you use? I use Chrome with DW CS6 and have no issues. Chrome is actually installed on my computer though and not on a flash drive. The only thing I can think of is that something is wrong with the Chrome file you have on the flash drive.
