HTPC Mini on deaths door

My HTPC is having major issues. I'm going to try a reformat tonight, but I fear it might be starting to die. (It's 2 generations old with user upgradable ram).

Anyone have any thoughts on how soon into 2016 the Skylake mini *might* arrive?
