Huawei mate 10 pro or... OnePlus 6

So the mate 10 pro just popped up unlocked on Amazon for 550. The OnePlus 6 is similar priced and newer.

If you was going to grab one, which would you grab? I think I'd trust Amazon more for the purchase. Maybe. My Nexus 6p came from Amazon and it was one of the worst devices I've had (lemon) and was stuck with it.

Your thoughts on the devices?

Between those two, I'd go with the OnePlus 6. The software experience is going to be better and you're actually going to get updates.

I'd go with the Mate10 Pro, the Battery Life on that phone is incredible along with its Super charging and the Camera is also way up there with the best of them this year, absolutely stunning device overall.

Check out the Mate 10 Pro at Best Buy if possible. Regardless, get that one first and if you don't like it just return it and decide if you want the oneplus afterwards.

OnePlus 6 since you can get the dev support w/ Lineage OS, proper OnePlus support for about 2 years, and it's cheaper than a Mate 10 Pro. As Michael Goff says, the software experience will be better because Huawei will provide you EMUI based UI updates.

OnePlus 6. OxygenOS is hands down better than EMUI in my opinion. And OnePlus actually updates their phones too.
