iPhone 11 Pro Huawei Mate 30 Pro vs iPhone 11 Pro Max / iPhone 11 / Samsung Note 10+ Battery Test

While not the claimed 5 hours it's over 2 hours better than iPhone Xs Max. Battery life is largely a function of battery capacity, screen area and transistors being powered. It now has a large battery but relatively lower screen area and fewer DRAM and NAND storage transistors to power relative to other devices so it does well.

Yea it's nice. I shouldn't need a battery case unless we go away somewhere. BTW the Pro Max fits in the XS Max Smart Battery case, just a little more snugly. I will check my other battery cases tonight and post results. Going to guess it may not fit the plastic ones but will still check.
 
This is exactly why a lot of us were wanting Apple to put bigger batteries in their phones, now that they have it’s great.

No more: “jUsT gEt a PoWerBaNk” nonsense.

No they aren’t. It does do 5 hours more when playing video. Obviously in real world usage it’s closer to 3 hours more but technically they aren’t lying , and they do say UP TO 5 hrs more, meaning 5 hrs is the absolute maximum

Just a little white lie and not blatant lie since they do say "up to". It's the fanboys who were exaggerating the claim that's it's guaranteed 5 hours better.

real world experience > manufacturer claim > fanboy claim
 
What I’m concerned about is the 11 not performing as well as I thought it would. Could this be it’s not as optimized for iOS 13...?
