These are the questions that should be asked. What impact does this have on the longevity of the screen, how long can it sustain this level of brightness etc.
It is ugly….
Apple and Huawei have very close market share in China itself (18% vs 15%), their processor is like 6 years behind iPhone and they are still using Android 12 for their OS. their panel is probably built by BOE as well, who is commonly known to be the worst iPhone panel supplier. This is most likely the real reason why Huawei's are banned in America because they are 5+ years ahead of Apple and they knew it would outsold everything.
Huawei dropped code from Android Open Source Project and the Linux kernel with HarmonyOS Next 5, released 22 October 2024 and first sold installed in Huawei Mate 70. It is totally their own OS now and cannot run Android apps natively. Humorous note: HarmonyOS (鸿蒙; pinyin: Hóngméng) literally translates as “Vast Mist.”Apple and Huawei have very close market share in China itself (18% vs 15%), their processor is like 6 years behind iPhone and they are still using Android 12 for their OS. their panel is probably built by BOE as well, who is commonly known to be the worst iPhone panel supplier.
Does anyone need it that bright? Like really?
