Does anyone use a Mate XT? I absolutely love using mine as a "iPad on the go and phone all in one". It saves me carrying around my MacBook Air unless I'm doing some really intensive work.

It's so handy for messages, email, surfing web, Spotify, reading contracts, Excel etc etc. Probably the best phone I have owned, and definitely the most capable.

Based on your signature... you also have a Moto Fold and Fold 7, how do you go about using all 3 phones?

I am actually using it with the Anker S600. It's a desktop conference call speaker which removes any other noise / voices in the background and has a QI charger perfect to fit my Mate XT in Portrait mode for checking messages off my main monitor.

I mainly use my Mate XT as mobile tablet / computer on the go and use my Moto Fold or Samsung Fold 7 as my main phone for calls etc and when I only want to carry one device.

The Moto has an amazing screen!

So, from my understanding you have two lines? And that Moto Fold has the one of the best specs in the foldable space, can go toe-to-toe with the Find N6. Biggest drawback for me is that we can't have two different layouts... although we can use a launcher, but not sure if that will hinder their version of the taskbar.

I've been so accustomed to using the Galaxy Fold with it's features... it's becoming second nature to me can't imagine moving on to something else. Been speculating going the iPhone foldable route with one of those dual screen laptops... just to change things up, but this iPad+Fold combo has been so good to me.

Correct, one work and one personal line. I use Google apps so I have perfect syncing across both devices and the Motorola just takes great "people photos" especially with portrait mode.

Nice Mate XT. I have the TriFold but similarly stopped bringing my personal MBP to work on in-office days because it's just not necessary anymore. When I had the Fold4, Fold5, and Fold6 I still carried my laptop.

Yes agreed, I just connect my Mate XT to my monitor and leave a small portable Huawei keyboard at work which has a built in mouse in the trackpad. It means my commute to work is basically my phone which can sit in my back pocket.

I've used DeX before but haven't tried connecting TriFold to my extra work monitor yet. I have a slim Bluetooth keyboard/track pad in my laptop bag though when needed.

I will try and take some photos of my setup. I have set up a YT channel also so will do a lifestyle review on there soon also!

I've had them all. XT, trifold, knew in my heart that the cost meant I just couldn't keep them. The XT was the fave but loved them both.

Had all the other folds too, but currently only have z fold 8 ultra, z fold 8 and Vivo x fold 6. Loving the fold 8 wide and the Vivo. Haven't touch the z fold 8 ultra.

Trifold 2 will be interesting. The mate xts was just not an upgrade from Huawei at all though.

I have posts on here somewhere about the XT

Im using the XT as my computer / data phone and still have my Mint Fold 7 as my everyday phone. It's just nice to have the Fold 7 if I want to be out and about and watching content on the widescreen but dont have the XT with me.

Here is the XT in my "Coffee Shop" set up...

I got the keyboard from here: Keyboard link and it is such good value and all the functions work. They have made it with Mac's in mind but everything like swiping between apps, pinch to zoom etc etc all work great.
