Whenever your iPhone 3G or 3GS is delivered, be sure to hug your hard-working UPS/FedEx guy. (Or girl, this is the 21st century...) If you can, get a picture of it.

Everyone deserves a hug, especially those who have to work during the iPhone 3GS launch...

I've ordered enough sh...stuff over the years to be on a first name basis with my fedex/ups delivery dudes. A hug would be beyond awkward :(

I've only gotten something delivered from UPS three times and it was a different person each time.

I'm sure this a busier time than Christmas for them.

I doubt it. Considering the number of impatient people who cancelled their preorder because Apple didn't provide shipping information this past Monday in the hope that they might get a phone at the store.

I payed them for deliverying it (built into iPhone price until Apple decides to charge extra for it), they will not be getting a hug for doing their job.

But everyone deserves a hug. Aren't there days where you want a hug "just for doing your job?"

I don't want some random person hugging me!

If my UPS person happens to be a good looking girl and she asks for a hug, I'll oblige. But an unannounced hug? Na, not me. :)

You never hugged your teachers in grade school? You must be pretty cold then.

I knew my teachers in grade school.

Teacher in grade school probably failed in teaching the subject of ECONOMICS.

I'm a double major in economics and accounting at a great university working at a financial institution. Care to explain what I don't undestand?

Take a picture with what? Well I'll see if he or she wants to wait around while I set up my Iphone

Your parents paid them for doing their job. Why hug them?

Because I knew them. I already went over this. I'll be appreciative the UPS person brings my package, but I'm not going to hug that person for two reasons. One being that they get paid for it and the other being that I don't know them. This really shouldn't be a controversy. Do you go around giving random people hugs? If so, please list the last 3 encounters where you gave random people hugs for doing ordinary things.

None of that matters. Who cares if they are getting paid. Why is that even a factor? We are all human and deserve friendly human interaction. What if everyone on this planet lived their lives like everyone was getting paid for what they did and no love was shown?

Everyone deserves to be loved and a hug is a simple way to thank them, salary or not.

UPS/FedEx drivers are freakin' ninjas, I don't know the last time I actually talked to one when they were delivering something. By the time I get to the door they are half way back to the truck.
