When you tap and hold an app down until it jiggles, it's now impossible to move an app to a page to the left. You can move it to a page to the right no problem, but apps can't be moved to the left.

Can anyone replicate this problem and is there a workaround?

I'm running 9.2 on a 6S+ and cannot replicate this problem. I just moved an app from my 2nd page to my first page (to the left) with no issues.

No problems here. iOS 9.2 on 6s+
What device are you using? Can you capture a video of the issue using QuickTime?

Please tell us that you aren't trying to move the app to the Siri screen. :p

Kidding, kidding...

Wait, got an idea... Is your left screen completely full of apps?

Edit: Nevermind... I just tried it and it works fine on 5s.

These forums really create the impression that iOS 9 has more bugs, but in fact it's just that people are getting lazy and won't check for a solution before posting about every little thing. Either that or people are becoming less knowledgeable about basic troubleshooting tips.

Tell me about it.

People getting lazy plus people claiming user error as bugs.

Are you sure you are pulling the icon all the way to the left? Try picking the app up by holding as far right of the icon as possible. This has sometimes happened to me and I had to pick it up again as I wasn't able to drag as far as it needed for the page to flip. Can't think of anything else but this being the problem.

I can move icons between pages but it's noticeably harder on iPhone 6s than before for whatever reason. I need to really, really push to the side. Didn't have to do that before.

I know I'm stating the obvious but have you done a Hard reset?

Working for me. 6s.

No issue for my 6s or Air 2.

As what SMIDG3T said above, have you tried a hard reset? Usually that will fix weird glitches, such as what you are experiencing.

Or they label everything a "gate" based only on their experience.

If you don't know how to do a Hard reset, hold the Power button and Home Button at the same time. The phone will turn off. Don't let go until you see the Apple logo.

I finally managed to move an app after 50 or so tries. There were times where I was able to move the app so far to the left that it almost disappeared but still popped back to the right.

A hard reset was the first thing I tried. I tried removing my case as well. I gave it to other people to try and they couldn't move an app. I guess I have an isolated case, but it's one of the strangest things I've seen especially since moving apps has never caused me any issues.

This has been an ongoing issue for me. I solve it in a number of weird ways. One being placing the problematic icon in a folder, and moving the folder over to the left, then removing the app from the folder since that sometimes helps. Usually it just takes patience though. Can be very frustrating.

I haven't experienced it lately, and it isn't just iOS 9.2; however, contrary to most of the posts here claiming it's user error, it is a bug... it's just very rare.

Show that to an Apple store and see if you can get a replacement

Could you use QuickTime to record the screen while your replicate the bug?

I don't want to go through the trouble of that, but I do appreciate everyone's advice and in some cases, confirmation. Nothing else is broken on my phone, so I can't really complain too much, but it's one of the strangest bugs I've seen.
