Huge discrepancy in free space iTunes vs iPhone

On my iPhone 5 (iOS 8.4) it shows that I have 336 megs free, but in iTunes (12.2) on the summary page it shows I have 2.06 GB free. Any ideas? Should I just do a restore?

I have the same issue with similar numbers. Was going to ask but forgot until I read this thread. Not sure I want to do a restore - I'm not sure which number to believe.

If I recall, it was a bug in 8.3 and might still be an issue. Or maybe it was a bug in iTunes. All I know is my iPad does the same, and it started after installing 8.3
