Omg I was not expecting this showed up at 9am I was 5th in line by 10am it was 30 people deep. Everyone upset at the lone lines for the iPad Pro.

I'm delaying showing up to the store today to get my in store pickup to let some of that clear out. I always overthink Apple launches so of course I preordered a delivery of a 256 wifi and got an instore order of a 256 LTE so i'll likely end up going to the store twice, once for the pickup and maybe tomorrow again for the return. Ugh.

There were 150 people in line before me when Tiger was released at midnight in 2005.
People would ask “what are you in line for?”
We said “MacOS Tiger, it’s an operating system.”
They responded “An operating system?” Shook their heads in disbelief and walked away. Pretty sure someone also shouted “Dorks!”

I was surprised to see lines. I got to the apple store about 10 minutes after they opened and the iPad tables were packed.
Wow, that's wild! I didn't expect that for the Pro today at the Apple Stores. I have to swing by after work and pick up my Pencil 2 from Apple Store - it'll be interesting to see how busy it is.
Picking up the iPad itself from BestBuy today over lunch if they price match Costco's $899, otherwise I've gotta stare at my Pencil and SmartFolio until Costco starts shipping next week. :/

Hmm I didn’t preorder the keyboard, only the iPad and pencil. I wonder if I can show up and get just a keyboard or will I have to wait in line with everyone else trying to get an iPad?
Your best bet is to order it from the Apple Store app on your phone or online for in-store pickup just to ensure that they have them. That being said, I'd guess there are plenty of the keyboards though. I was mostly worried about there being a Pencil shortage like the original Pencil. BestBuy and Target most likely have the keyboards in stock as well.
