Huge problem with Apple right now

    So I ordered a retina macbook pro. I received it 3 weeks later and immediately noticed ghosting on the screen. I sent the it in for repair and told them to ship to where I am for vacation. I called today and they said that it's supposed to be on my doorstep right now. So i asked a friend to go over and see if it's there or not. He said it's not there. I'm hoping my neighbors took it for me so when I get home I'll have it back. But my question is, what if it got stolen within the 5 days it's been there? I set up a shipment case or whatever it was called but they said That would take 10 days. I still loved the computer but this is a huge annoyance.

    Sounds more like a annoyance with the courier

    Just tell Apple you never got the shipment, they will provide you with a replacement and seek an insurance claim from their carrier. All Macs should be shipped requiring signature confirmation, so it is the carrier's fault for not obtaining that signature and leaving the goods on your doorstep.

    I had the same thing happen with a $3,000 DSLR camera.

    OK i will do this when i get home. If the neighbors dont have it
