Mu MBP was pinched, so after some consideration I bought an iPad to play with.

    what a great toy!

many of the things i did with my mbp like brosing, checking mail, watching movies, i can easily do with a much lighter, thinner device with loads more battery time.

I have got a new mbp of course for doing 'real' stuff at home.

But so far I am chuffed with my pad. but what is the oddly graphic free button for on my dock keyboard, do i get loads more e-points if i use it, like scrabble?

    doris

the oonly thing is i got the wifi 32meg and its going back (god bless the brittidh distance selling regs! and getting one with 3g)

You either have some serious language skill problems or you are a product of our educational system.

Yeah, doesn't sound too well-rounded in speech and grammar. I get the impression he is just writing as he would normally speak.

Why do people always make up a story around something getting stolen in order to create a thread?

They're British and new to typing on the iPad. That would explain the confusion. :)
