Hundreds of Random Playlists

Suddenly, there have been hundreds of (empty) random playlists that have shown up in iTunes & the iPhone (4) with iTunes Match enabled.

Has anyone run across this? Any idea what causes it, and how can I easily get rid of all of these playlists?
