I know it’s just my first day with the new iPhone 12 Pro and I love the pacific blue color but the squared sides really hurts my hands. It feels super uncomfortable to me. I hope I get used to it.

I find it more comfortable. I finally have some side surface for my fingertips to grip on to.

If you never had the iPhone 4s, 5 or SE, this new design will feel awkward. After a week, you may think differently. it could also be that the phone is too big for your hand.

I am hoping to get use to it. I do have smaller hands and I’ve had surgery on them but this one feels a bit sharper. I am going to purchase the mini for my kids and the Max for my hubby in November so I will how the mini feels. Thanks for your reply.

Given your condition and hand size, the mini may be what you need to comfortably hold and not feel cramping or pain after short use. The phone shouldn’t hurt your hand holding it this quickly.

I am ordering the mini. I had the 4s, 5 and the SE. I like the small phone, especially for one-handed use at times.

I changed the photo for all of the overly sensitive, easily offended ❄️

I definitely feel the difference, and it’s not as comfortable on the edges, but it’s not actually painful. My palms are wide, but my fingers are on the shorter side, and I have painful wrists and hands, thanks to illness, so this is a big issue for me, too.

I’m not a fan of cases, but that might be a solution for you. A silicone or leather case might be just the ticket.
