Hi all,

My Dad has just bought a new 17" 1.67 PB. He lives and works in Switzerland but obviously being a Brit he needed a QWERTY keyboard instead of the german QWERTZ. So the apple shop had a few QWERTY PB's in stock so he had one.

When he got home he realised that the QWERTY part of keyboard is English but the characters (, . <>? []:; etc etc) are not in an English keyboard format but they are still in German!
So his options are either change to Qwertz (German langauge set)to get the characters correct or keep it in QWERTY (English lang. set) and just remember where the english sysmbols would be.

The latter is not such a big deal because really only the quotation marks and <> symbols are different.

Any ideas guys (is it possible to take the keys off and then reposisiton them - or is there an app out there that can remap ALL of the keys and not just CAPS, CONTROL and APPLE?)

Matt

sorry about the length!
