Hi,

I've got a new Mac with macOS Catalina preinstalled, and there is some issue with HyperDock. Unfortunately, the app is still not updated to this OS. Can you recommend some alternatives to this great app that works on Catalina?

I've tried ActiveDock and uBar, but they are more like a replacement to the Apple Dock, which is not my option. I only need to enhance the Apple Dock, and that's what HyperDock is doing.

Thanks!

Apparently, the solution is to install it from the Mac App Store (not downloaded from developer website). Now it’s working like on Mojave..

The App Store is version 1.7. The latest version is 1.8. Neither one is working on my MacBook but works on my iMac. Makes no sense.

Try this:
1. Install it from the App Store
2. Run it once. It crashes
3. Download from the Developer website and install it

It should work in this case.

But I would recommend deleting the existing installation and all the traces before you begin these steps. You can easily do it with Clean My Mac or something like this.

Good luck!

Does the App Store version work in latest Catalina now or just in Mojave?
