When I get an instant notification email from one of the macrumors forums, the link back to the forum post is not a clickable link. It's just plain text. I looked in the my CP settings and didn't see anything for this. I'm using MS Outlook on Win 7 for email (I have Mac and PC). Is there a way to get emails to have clickable links?

you don't want that, thats why its in plain text..

I do want hyperlinks in my email. Every other forum I subscribe too has hyperlinks. It's pain to cut and paste into my browser address bar.

I'm not really worried about Phishing. I always look at the email address.

So back to my original question. Is this a setting by the MacRumors forum. Or maybe it's something with outlook. But since I get other emails with links, I'm thinking it's a MacRumors setting.

I haven't done anything special to my Prefs at MR. My email updates go to a Gmail address and it's all OK. Maybe it's an Outlook thing?

Has it always been like that or did it start at a certain time?

I just reviewed my Gmail settings to see if I had something set there and I see nothing that can be configured with regard to URLs in emails.

About a year or so ago I saw that same problem in all MR update emails. See thread here, dated 2013/10/21.
