I do have one question: Is the charger universal? Meaning if I plug the adapter into a 220V socket, I can still charge the battery?

I'd love one of these, but the price seems a bit steep...
Kinda makes me wanna buy an old power adapter, cut the end off, and wire it to a bunch of LIon batts sitting inside of a empty powerbook shell or something interesting like that.. I miss airsoft..
I also fly back and forth to Beijing once every couple of months, business class is usually like an extra 2000 USD, and Coach never seems to have a power outlet anywhere despite that the seating charts say.. But then you need some 400 dollar airplane adapter thing.

Are there any adapters so I could use this with any other laptops?
This is the kind of thing I'd use once for a long flight, then never again for 4 months, when my girl's old laptop barely lasts an hour unplugged.

HyperMac,

If I pre-order by the end of the week, when will this be at my door step?...a week, 2 weeks, month(s)?

If you can promise that you can get it to me by the end of the month - I will purchase one...

let me know...I live in Philly.

Thanks,

Didn't feel like creating a new thread…

Anyways, like they promised my battery shipped out today… will post some pics when I get it.

I may have gotten carried away when I ordered it because I just decided to check how big the 222Wh battery is; it's actually thicker, almost as long and wider, and heavier than a MacBook… Woops.

Well I just bought the big 222 (not sure if I shoulda gone for the 150 instead, oh well) and it should be making its way over here to Japan soon.

I have a question though -- does anyone know about plugging in other things to the DC out port. Specifically, I'd like to be able to charge my Canon DSLR and Canon camcorder batteries to it so I never run out of battery while I'm out shooting. Anyone know of a solution for this?
