Unnecessarily big and the media buttons really aren't worth that. The media playback functionality is easily handled by headphones or the software controls.

But if you had them, you would use them. And then in about 6 months, they would stop working, and you would curse yourself because you were using them, and got hooked on them. It happens with software features too: 'Where is that button to set (xxx)? It was right here! Why did they remove it! WHY!!!'. Like my iPhone and iOS 15. Where is the setting to stop notifications from waking me up? Grrr... They never used to happen until a more proper hour of the morning. *sigh*

I wouldn't, I've been controlling the media functionality for over 3 years with the AirPods, and before that for years with my Sony BT Headphones.
