hypothetical 3.1 question?

hypothetically speaking, when if 3.1 jailbreak comes out, how will restore work? if i have a 3gs running 3.0 and then i update to 3.1 and a 3.1 jailbreak is released, and then I jailbreak, if i brick my iphone what would happen? like if i plugged my iphone into itunes would i be able to restore? and if i was able to restore what would i restore to? btw i didn't save the iBCC IBEC files.

nobody knows since the JB is hypothetical still/ but bricked Iphones are rare most times do to hardware failure or extreme user error! Bricked phones are unusable about 99.9% unbrickable!
