Just upgraded my iPhone to iOS 26 and I absolutely love it. It’s visually the most elegant iOS Apple has ever produced. The icons all have a translucent (and dynamic) shine to them. The blurred wallpapers look infinitely better than they used to.

It’s so beautiful I’m thinking of tripling my iPhone Air order and laughing at outdated Samsung options.

Font hard to read under certain circumstances. Hopefully dark mode can help. Screenshot 2025-09-16 at 8.44.40 PM.png

You're ok with "lag" and "stutter"? 😧
Eh, no. I feared it would be worse to be honest...It did the same thing after updating to 18.0 and it totally cleared up. Perhaps it's still "indexing?" I updated around 12:30am Tuesday morning.

So, I am HOPEFUL 18.0.1, some update will get rid of this.

Can anyone tell me what this widget is for on my iPad screen since updating to iOS 26 when pressed it just locks the screen. I can’t disable it.

I agree I love the new look of IOS and I do like how the photos app looks and how apple music looks and the new features. The Liquid Glass is very nice

Figured it out, its for Hover text its now disabled. It was driving me mad having to keep moving the widget on screen so I didn't catch it while scrolling.

for the record, many of us don't notice lag or stutter - no time to figure out why, but yah.. it's fine
