I am a believer in the 3.5" screen

remember the time when phones were getting smaller? .. these tiny really expensive nokia plastic phones everybody wanted to have? ....

i'm pretty fine with the 3.5, generally the iphone size.
bigger means i'd need a purse..
the fact that i'm a male won't go along with the whole purse situation..

so: 3.5, maybe 3.7 inches will be fine!
don't change it, or at least give us the chance for a 3.5 option and a XXL iphone (for all the guys who like to carry an iPad in their pockets!)

You must wear skinny jeans. Or a skirt. Not sure why so many people think 4.3" phones will have trouble going in their pockets.

Don't worry! You'll still have a 3.5" option in the 4S! The rest of us will happily go with a very slightly larger iPhone with a 4" screen.

There is bickering over what foods are great, which sports team is best, etc. etc. It is what it is. The answer to why this happens is probably right there on the bookshelf next to the meaning of life.

I find you discover interesting things from time to time with these kinds of topics. As long as we are expressing our feelings and not flaming, it's all good.

That's the one that I am hoping for. I'll still get the 3.5" option if that's the only one, but would really like a 4" one.

I do. But that was a time where there would be no benefit in having a larger phone. By that, I mean we didn't really need a larger screen for the limited features (calling and texting) phones of that period had. We are now consuming media on our phones; some people use their smartphones more for media consumption than as an actual phone.
