Last night I went to bed after buying several seasons of a TV show. I knew it would be a long download. That is why I purchased the shows before going to bed.

I wake up this morning and only three episodes were downloaded!

There was a pop-up asking me if I wanted to upgrade iTunes and everything was paused.

What a messed up way to ask for an update. Why not let the first operations finish before pausing the software.

The program wasted a whole night of download time.

I am angry.

That's where you complain to get things changed.

Yeah,

I hate when stuff like that happens. The laptop that I use for aTV iTunes sharing is in the basement. I lose the ability to watch movies from that computer when I have the update dialog box popped up.

I think there's a setting in the preference to disable autoupdates.
