my older sister has a rubicon and loves it. i got to borrow it for a week and had a chance to give it a look over. It was fun to drive definitely, but really eats up too much gas. i think its like 13mpg. Its just not practical as a man car, but worth it if you intend on going off-roading alot
 
Do they have electric versions yet? Oil will triple in price and then be subject to rationing in the next decade. You can bet on it!
 
It'd be interested in an electric one, but electric cars in general are just now becoming mainstream. I'm guessing it's going to take a few more years before they figure out how to make an electric car, where the battery can be submerged, like how the current engine/gas tank on the Wrangler can.

I feel bad about the MPG of my Wrangler. It's about 33% lower than most other cars on the road. But I'm having 500% more time driving, so ... meh. I'll keep volunteering to pickup trash, that'll be my contribution to the earth. :)
 
there is an electronic model, it was showcased back in either 09 or 08, but they havent begun production on it yet.
