I am getting the 6C (IF IT COMES OUT!!)

I will buy the 6C when it comes out because, first of all the "C" series of iPhones are always cheaper, and I dont have tons of money to spend on a iPhad 6 plus (yes I just combined iPhone and iPad). Second of all, at the moment I have a android phone that is extremely laggy and has terrible battery life, even though I bought it THIS YEAR!! Well, enough talk will you get it? Answer the poll!

What makes you people think that Apple is going to release this model of phone? They already had their keynote address and they mentioned no such device. The iPhone 5c did not do very well so I doubt that they will release a 6c. No need for me, it's waaaayyy to small! And, it's plastic, I like my heavy iPhone 6s Plus!
 
I would love a 6c. The 5c was my very first iPhone. I just really enjoy the way this device feels and looks. I'd be in a quandary with my 6s as I'm not sure which phone I'd pick... I'm sure the 6s will be better but I don't care about that. I care about what makes me the most happy. I'd have a lot of thinking to do.

Yeah, I always thought that the 5C was a flop. It was touted as being a cheap iPhone for the masses, but turned out to be fairly expensive.
Too expensive for the people who it was supposed to be aimed at anyway. Now that the top iPhones have 2GB of RAM it would be even less appealing, because surely it would be based on the iPhone 6 if they made it at all.
 
I really think the C series has been put to rest. It was meant to be a low end model but Apple has higher margins and better satisfaction from customers by just dropping the lineup down a peg. Now the 5S is the entry. A not talked about reason Apple brought out the 5C is because they wanted to stop the 5 faster due to the anodizing of the black version.

Next year we'll probably see
iPhone 7 & 7+ - top
iPhone 6S & 6s+ - Mid
iPhone 6 & 6+ - entry
 
I think the whole concept of the "C" series iPhone was to lower the cost of the phones by using plastic while at the same time updating the wireless internals for more LTE-band compatibility. Since they left the iPhone 6 in the lineup with no changes, I suspect there won't be a follow-up to a "C" series iPhone.

An iPhone mini, on the other hand, is entirely plausible.

Yes, I agree that it's better to sell the older premium iPhones as the 'cheaper' option.
 
I think we're more likely to see the iPhone lineup match the iPad and MacBook lineup.

iPhone Pro - 5.5 inch
iPhone Air - 4.7 inch
iPhone Mini - 4 inch

Hopefully with performance parity as well.

I would be happy for the people who want a smaller iPhone to get their wish, but I would be really curious as to what Apple would call it and how it would affect the naming of the other iPhones. Perhaps they can have an iPhone mini, iPhone Air, and iPhone Pro? If it's iPhone 7 mini, iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus, then I hope they all get the A10 chip and the same internals.

I think it should be iPhone Mini, iPhone and iPhone Plus. I think adding Air and Pro as names would be confusing, as for iPads, Air means thin, an Pro means a professional iPad. Where as

- iPhone Mini - The small iPhone
- iPhone - The standard iPhone
- iPhone + - The Plus size iPhone

That doesn't sound too bad, but I just realized that if those were the names, Apple would run into a problem when they release the "S" versions. What would those be called and what would the successors to the "S" versions be called?
