This happened to me a couple of weeks ago, and I promptly changed my password.

Today, I received a similar email, also sent from my email address which it was received at:

Did you know that there are celebrities who are looking for people that they can send money to? Well here's how to get unto $1,666 in the next 24 hours from celebrities, using a 3-step trick [LINK REMOVED] I've already claimed $433 from a celebrity who sent the money straight to me. Go see how you can get a piece of this too before its too late: [LINK REMOVED] Talk soon P.S - This is not a sales video or anything, It's just a place where you can get money from Celebrities: [LINK REMOVED] [LINK REMOVED] [LINK REMOVED]

Any idea what could be happening? I only use this password for my Apple ID, and I only enter it in iTunes or icloud.com. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

You can put anything you want in the From and To lines in the email. Some of the spammers put in random from lines to try and confuse the spam filters.

One would have to look at the raw message source to know what was actually happening.
