Man! Totally awesome. Just ripped it as an MP3 and got it onto my iPod. I'm still rockin' out too!

The stange thing to me is I can't figure out who the add targets. I can't recall ever having made a purchasing decision based upon the manufacture of the hard drive inside my MP3 player...

"get perpendicular"= GREAT! Hilarious! I love watching all the bits dancing!!

"HD is new bling" = .... Why? Also, did anyone else notice how they said "I have 30000 songs on my MP3"? WHERE DID THE WORD "PLAYER" GO??! "I Have 30k songs on my MP3.. PLAYER
Man, the 2nd one sucked. Boooooo....

That was so bad I almost fell off my chair laughing. 10/10 for effort, but minus several million points for good thinking.

LOL, your comment was so funny I almost fell off my chair laughing. 10/10 for the reference and an extra several million points for using it in the good context. :D

Hip-Hop needs to die

Seriously. What's with the hip-hop trend these days? I don't want to sound racist, but isn't hip-hop supposed to be for black people? (oh, sorry, "African-American" - anyway, I don't want to use stereotypes, but that's where hip-hop started)

I mean, how would you react if all of a sudden, all companies, marketing, etc. went the "Country Music" way? Imagine the rest of the planet going "What's with the country crap? Do they think everyone's from Texas?" ;)

Stop the madness, NOW. Stop with the damn "hip-hop", "bling" and other crap. We can't stand it anymore. Heck, we don't even UNDERSTAND the damn ads anymore (reference to that Dodge (?) ad with the two guys on the golf course).

What's next? L337 m4rk371ng? Bleh!

What I thought too..

THIS is the real deal :D

Yeah, at first I thought the link that started this thread would lead to that animation, which, I have to say, more than makes up for any other bad ads that Hitachi might produce...

The "Hip Hop" audience isn't just african americans, you know. I like Hip Hop, and I'm pretty sure I'm not black. At my school, there's the classsic rock group and the hip hop group, and if you want to target my age group, then you have to pick one (or both).

Yeah, but that's not what I meant.

Hip-hop is, for a lack of a better word, the "new disco". It's everywhere and marketing is grabbing it for no particular reason. Not everyone likes hip-hop and street talk but everyone seems to focus on that.

My "country music everywhere" was the general idea of what I meant. Not everyone likes country music, and a lot of people who be like "WTF?!" if that happened. But the same is happening with hip-hop.

I HATE it when companies do "Hip Hop" advertising. CPUGHboostmobileCOUGH. Now someone needs to do a "reply" ad like T-Mobile did with Poser Mobile.

I'll let it slide because its a foreign company...but who the hell do they think they're targetting? There's probably not a person in the world who would respond positively to that kind of marketing.

And if there is such a person, he/she is a HUGE loser.
