I'm already contemplating shutting my accounts down with eBay/PayPal. This hassle has really turned me away from them. I used to enjoy selling/purchasing things off of their, but now, I've turned sour.

Thanks for all the advice, I'm just waiting to see PayPal's next move, and if things aren't escalating fast enough for me I'm just going to take this to my bank and have them handle it. I don't care if PayPal punishes me for forcefully taking my money back.

If you followed the recommended steps maybe you wouldn't go through this. Again, you have to go through ebay, not paypal (yes, yes - same owners and all that - but the way to do it is contact ebay) The reason is because ebay provides the guarantee, not paypal.

PayPal will not be able to do anything if the seller does not have any money in his/her account, so for the last time.. go through ebay.

Log into your ebay account, click on 'my ebay' and then keep your mouse cursor over 'account' and then select 'resolution center'. Once there, select "I haven't received it yet' for a purchased item.

I'll post a screenshot for you :

Thanks, I've done that, just takes me back to PayPal. It says this:

Purchase:
Apple 15.4 in. Mac Notebook sold to XXXXXX on Feb-12-2010

Price: $1,600.00
Claim status: Open - Your action needed

You can view the latest details of your claim and take any required actions by accessing your PayPal account.

Here's how:

Click Continue to PayPal to proceed to the PayPal website.
Log in to your PayPal account. Afterwards, you'll be taken to the Resolution Center.
View details about your claim and proceed with any necessary actions.

After weeks of calling PayPal, it was finally resolved. I was reimbursed the money taken. :D

So, PayPal "isn't" as bad, they do cover you as a buyer for non-received items.

Thanks for all the help and support!
