I'm pretty sure that some people buy fully loaded rMBP's or MP every few years that are worth several thousand dollars. Why would watches be different?
 
I'm pretty sure that some people buy fully loaded rMBP's or MP every few years that are worth several thousand dollars. Why would watches be different?

The biggest difference to me is the Apple Watch is just a gadget at the moment that doesn't do anything for me that my phone won't do. I will never use the fitness aspect of it. My MBP is my bread and butter. If my watch died, I'd be sad. If my computer died, I'd be lost.
