I bought a used iMac7 and everytime I try to do something, ie. install printer software, it's asking me to log in... however, I don't know the admin password.. PLEASE HELP!!

This method works by tricking the OS into thinking you haven't setup an account yet, so when you reboot it lets you create a new admin account as if the OS was just installed. Once you have a new admin account, you should be able to reset the password of the other one or simply delete it (if you've been using the other account and have stuff stored already, you would probably want to change the password and save the account instead of deleting it and losing your stuff).
I would recommend this as well. You don't want whatever crap they had on their system laying around, you never know what people keep on their drives... Some of which might not be legal.
