About 2 weeks ago my computer begin to only right click. At first i tired to turn off all controls that would enable it to right click such as the command button and the right click feature on the track pad neither or which worked. In frustration i pounded on the control key a couple time and it started working normally again for about 4 days but now its doing it again and unfortuantly pounding on the control key isnt helping t his time. Additionally i also turned off the bluetooth after reading a thread on here about someone with a similar problem but that did not help either. Also it doesnt start only right clicking right away. Usually after about 2 or 3 min after i have booted up the computer it begins to only right click eliminating my ability to use the keyboard along with other features such as the power button and my ability to scroll in certain windows. Any ideas?

Okay first off what kind of mac is it again? i know that sometimes if it is a pre unibody macbook you can get the top case and trackpad replaced under warranty because the part is faulty kind of like how apple has been replacing bottom cases on the newer white unibody macbooks. Even if you no longer have apple care (and if it's not a macbook) I would still notify apple about the issue that you are experiencing. It may be also you have something lodged into your mouse/trackpad that is making park of it not work unless you pound on it. Worse comes to worse and you think it may be a software issue you can always back up your data erase your HD reinstall the OS you are using and migrate everything back on.. Or if it's just a mouse which I'm guessing it's not you can buy a new one.
