I cannot downgrade to Catalina because my USB is not visible

I have downloaded Catalina and used this command to create a bootable USB drive:

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Catalina.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Install\ macOS\ Catalina

I have the USB drive, this is actually a microSD card inserted into a card reader adapter (Baseus). I can see the content in Finder and in Terminal:

ls /Volumes/Install\ macOS\ Catalina


Install macOS Catalina.app Library System usr

But when I boot using Option key I cannot see the drive as a bootable device, I can see only the internal SSD.
I also booted in Recovery Mode (Command + R) and chose Startup Security Utility and set: Secure Boot - No Security and External Boot - Allows booting from external media. But the USB is still not visible.

In case someone else is hitting this issue, I modified the command to:

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Catalina.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Install\ macOS\ Catalina --nointeraction --downloadassets

I don’t have another one. But I managed to downgrade to Catalina using in Recovery Mode: Erase Mac. So the problem is solved without an USB drive. Thanks for trying to help!
