iOS8 has been a total headache. I hate random auto phrase correction. And the screen auto refresh is so painfully slow.
And the update this morning made my safari stuttery.
I cannot wait to try iOS 9

Nonsense. The betas for me haven't been roses, as they are betas, but it definitely works better than iOS 8.4. On my 6 Plus it's smoother and actually retains what apps are running in the background much more than 8.4 did.

I'm excited to use iOS 9 as well. iOS 7 and 8 have been great for me, I haven't had any of the major problems others have had. iOS 9 should be great though, and I'm especially looking forward to using it on my iPad!

I just hope Apple gets 9 right.

Me too! I hope they get everything right under the hood. I'm thinking that because 9 wasn't a huge upgrade, maybe they did a little more under the hood of the OS. Hopefully everything will be right for iOS 10 to be a major upgrade and maybe see some UI changes.

Have you actually used them or at least the latest one? Public Beta 3/Dev Beta 5 have been running flawlessly on my iPhone 6 and a hell of a lot better than 8.4 was.
For quite a few others, especially quite a few of those with iPhone 5s phones, it doesn't seem to be all that great.

If there already working on 9.1 (see new article today) that must mean that 9.0 is not polished and there already fixing problems from 9.0. I hope I'm wrong.

Early work on future versions of iOS doesn't mean bug fixes or something like that, it's generally about new features, redesigns of something, and other things of that nature. It doesn't really say anything one way or another about the current version or the upcoming one.

Public beta is working well for me, latest version working smoothly on a severely over-taxed 5C...until I broke it last night. Expecting it to work great on the 6+ I have coming.

I can't wait for Apple to start signing iOS 6 again!!!

Oh wait…they won't. Damn, never mind! :(
As odd as this may sound, the thing I miss the most from iOS 6 and earlier is the dock. I feel it looked much better than the current dock. I wish Apple would just give me the option of removing the overlay completely.

The reviews that I have gone through proclaim iOS 9 as better than iOS 8 with lesser bugs and a better experience overall. They have added quite a few useful features in it including multitasking and an improved keyboard and Siri. Keeping fingers crossed for the next month's release!

I think Apple has lost its touch. iOS 8 has been nothing but a PITA since it launched and it gets worse each update. I'm not looking forward to iOS 9, but I'll have no choice.
