Well if you cant read something and see it says "BOX ONLY" then you should be kicked off ebay. Why even provide a title if no one reads it? And if you read, this box selling auction is not the reason for welfare...its everyone protecting the stupid.

How did he get the monitor out of the brand-new unused unopened box? The same as you would find in a retail store? Can I get a box only at Apple?

Thats the only option ebay gives you, there is not a brand new box listing. What dont you understand?

That's actually one of the options. There is one where you can put the item may have been removed from box. Under used. And if it's the box only...then it's not brand new, it's obviously used.
Not only that. It should be in the title, and he shouldn't be listing "FEATURE OF THE BOX". Unless that feature is 1. Shipping 2. storage. 3. cat toy.

Dude, you have issues if you think that is ok but you are entitled to your opinion much like I am entitled to mine.
You think it is fine, great, good for you. However, I find it to be misleading and an attempt to get 700 dollars for a piece of cardboard. Just because people are stupid (as you said) does not give you the right to take money from them in this fashion. If you were honest, you would tell the buyer that it is only a cardboard box and take 10 bucks for it.

You seem to think the ebay seller has fooled us here. We know it's for the box only. We have excellent reading comprehension. We also noticed by our excellent reading comprehension that this guy was trying to deceive someone. Which he obviously deceive some people, since he sold a cardboard box for $730. Not only did he deceive the person who "won" this wonderful box. He deceive everyone that bid over $20 on this item. Which looks like it could have been another 10 people or so, who probably don't have as good of ENGLISH READING COMPREHENSION as you and I.
