I can't connect to itunes store

    I recently updated to itunes 7.7 after learning about the app store for iphone. I was running itunes store fine this morning on the earlier version of itunes. The moment 7.7 was finished I got an error saying " Itunes could not connect to the itunes store, an unknown error occurred please check your network connection"

    My connection is obviously not the issue because I can connect to the internet fine. Any idea what to do? I already uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and that didnt help.

    Same thing happened to me plus I can't get Safari to work either. Help.....

    I haven't been able to connect this morning either.

    My problem was Macafee firewall. I just deleted it and it fixed the problem. Whats your error code?

    My error code is (-4). Really frustrating...any ideas?
