Hi all. I've got a new 27" iMac (the one that just came out, base model). I enrolled the iMac in the Apple Beta Software Program (the software update utility says so on the left side). When I first open it (after having enrolled) I get "update not found." When I force it to try again, I get "Your Mac is up to date - macOS Catalina 10.15.6" I have tried unenrolling from the Beta Software program a few times, with a few reboots thrown in for good measure. No dice.

What gives? Any ideas?

I would suggest that the Macs released just this week may not yet be an acceptable beta system (so would not allow download of the public beta, hardware is too new, drivers and such not provided for the new processors, etc)
Wait for the next one or two beta updates, and you should be good to go.

I figured it might be the newness of the iMac. Thanks for reinforcing that. I’m sure it’ll get sorted out.

I am having the same issue. I assume the new iMac isn’t supported just yet. Hopefully they release a new version soon to allow us to join in on the fun.

Same issue here with the iMac 27" 2020 - tried both the developer and public betas. Stuck at 10.15.6. Could download the Safari beta though.

Noticed this too. I’m guessing beta 4 didn’t have the HW IDs for the new 2020 iMacs. I see beta 5 is out For iOS and friends. ill check dev betas for beta 5 macOS as my brand new iMac is completely unusable on Catalina due to constant panics.
