it is, go to the haptic settings. the default one is short, the old longer version is there.
Awesome thanks! I had thought the new default vibration pattern felt different from what I remembered.

Hmmmmmm, me thinks it's a ploy by Apple to make people buy the Apple Watch...don't want to miss text/calls because of extremely low vibration on your 6s/+, 7/+?, buy the Apple Watch and never miss any important text/calls again!
That wouldn't surprise me one bit but I'm gonna give Apple a little credit and say that they still value the user experience over cheap ploys to try and make money by forcing people to buy stuff that should've been built well or integrated better to begin with.

Still, being that macOS Sierra seems to be an OS update that hinges largely on more deeply tying together Apple's various services such as iCloud & iOS devices more tightly together I wouldn't be shocked.

Huh?! There are people, who want to feel the vibration of a phone while its laying on a table? o_O
Since over 20 years I thought the vibration was meant to use in your pocket, to know when you get a call or message without disturbing others around you. I never knew, it was meant to bee used to make a desk go "Brrrrr Brrrrr Brrrrr"!

I think that a good many use some type of audible tone so "most" are not missing their calls and texts.

We all definitely know this is true. At some of the most delicate times, someones phone is either ringing or beeping. I do wish more people would use vibration mode. Just one of my pet peeves.

That's what an Apple Watch is for :)

........................

Are you guys serious? Those that say that's what the Apple watch is for? How can you be so naive?

The phone is supposed to have a good vibration so when it's in silent you can feel it!! Whether it's in your pockets or on the table!! You SHOULDN'T need to buy a 350$ device to not miss notifications! C'mon now!

Em... Yeah... I have my phone at the table in my bedroom next to my bed when sleeping and I have it in silent with vibration so it doesn't disturb so much....... I guess you think you're smarter than anyone else...

It's an 800$ phone! It should vibrate enough in your pocket at least! No excuses for that!

Good for you, but others do.

Dude, I didn't say you were not experiencing problems. Not at all. What I took issue with is the quote of yours that I posted. You assumed most people are okay with having low vibrations and missed calls and texts. That is not what is happening because I don't miss calls or texts. Either you have always been unhappy with the vibration and have always missed calls and texts, or you have a defective device.
