Hey folks,

I've been searching across Amazon and beyond for a MacBook Air case (not a sleeve, but an actual case that attaches to the laptop) specifically made for the 2020 model, since it is a tiny bit larger than the previous year's models due to the Magic Keyboard, and I've read that the older cases aren't a perfect fit. But to my surprise, I can't find a single case made specifically for the 2020 Air!

Everything I've found on Amazon has said "2020 2019 2018" meaning that it's really meant for the older models, and the manufacturers of those cases either don't realize that there's a size difference, or they're just trying to get away with selling the cases they already have. I heard that Apple is releasing the "Incase" one next month, but I'd ideally want one within the next week or so since that's when my MacBook air is arriving in the mail and I'd like to put the case on right away.

How has nobody made a case specific to this model yet? Usually with iPhones, manufacturers make the cases before the phone even releases! This seems a little out of character, especially considering that the 2020 Air came out last March. If you guys know of any cases available online or in stores, please let me know. I'm Canadian, in case it makes any difference. Not sure if stores have different stock outside of my region.

That's good, because it's a pretty bad idea to insulate the passively cooled CPU further in a case ;)
You should really not do that. :)

Pad & Quill makes a couple styles for the 2020. They don't snap on so the small difference in thickness doesn't matter.
