a guy gave me help with changing my internal hardrive, but i can't figure out carbon copy cloner (link to other thread). i need help fast, please help. i can't find the target disk, but when i go to system profiler, i see the newly installed hard drive. please help.

I Can't Find Target Disk With Carbon Copy Cloner!!! Help Asap Please!!!

it's blank, new from the box (here's the link to the product: http://tinyurl.com/25l7878). i can see it though when i click on about this mac. (also, please read the other thread for details).
You need to format the new drive before Carbon Copy Cloner can use it as a target. To format open Disk Utility in the Utilities folder, select the new blank drive, change to the Partition tab, use the drop down menu to change it to 1 Partition instead of Current, click the Options button, click GUID, click Apply. Then retry CCC.
