i can't send messages using iMessage app on iPad 2 without ios5 beta 2

i cannot send any messages using my iPad? the circle keeps spinning and never stops. i tried sending a text to a phone, an email account but still a spinning circle. anyone els have this problem? i am using ios5 beta 2 btw.
