Been staying almost all night with anxiety waiting for the phone, I really don't want to feel like this, any good advise to distract my mind til Friday ?

Convince yourself it has been delayed until November, then if it turns up Friday u can b happy

I could see this being a thing Thursday... but, Tuesday? Seriously? Just keep using your iPad or phone now and you'll really enjoy the 6 once it comes in even more.

I my experience, those who find themselves losing sleep over events such as the release of a phone, find other events to be quite boring. Head on over to NPR or BBC and try reading up on important world events such as ISIS in the Middle East, the Ukrainian conflict, and the Ebola outbreak in Africa.

I'm positive you'll be sawing logs in no time.

Really?

Go do something else and keep yourself busy. Read a book, learn a new language, get into a new TV series or something if that's your thing.

Wow. You're losing sleep over a phone? And why are you anxious? Not worth it at all.

wow, over getting a new phone...

what are you gonna do if you go through trouble with your significant other? pressure from work?

...you know, REAL problems.

I suspect that the OP has no "other" and the phone is the most important thing in his life right now.

Just wait till he/she gets out in the real world:rolleyes:

I honestly don't know what I have become, I feel like they have a control over me, I have been acting like a fool also, my family thinks I've gone mad and I even gave my employees the week off from work to try and gather a plan of attack to get this darn phone. This is totally not like me.

What a sad state our Country is in if people worry more about their phone than who their elected officials are or how egregious income inequity is killing our middle class.

Enjoy it! The hype and expectation is part of the experience (only reason I post around release).

Can't remember the last time I was actually excited by a product release though. I was nearly excited about getting the Fenix 2.. nearly. But I was already aware of it's limitations and knew it was only partly satisfactory.

iPad - I was unhappy with it and got it begrudgingly to give it a chance.

iMac (new style) - was kinda looking forward to it, but it was more a necessity as my old workhorse had died. And I know that I have to reboot to Bootcamp to game on it, so there's always that deep dissatisfaction for me with any Mac.

Dunno really, can't really remember the last time I thought something was awesome enough that I was excited for it. Maybe we have too much stuff here. Had loads of iPhones, MBPs, iPods, iPads etc just sitting around. Diminishing returns I guess.

There's only 1 gadget I was in life, and I know the features it would have. The day they make it I'll be staying up late at night too! :D

Totally agree. Sad times indeed. I'm partly guilty myself, but I do feel more strongly about politics that I do about gadgets for sure.

You should probably cancel your order and reorder it to push the anxiety to next week. You might be able to handle it next week. Good luck.

And here I am just losing sleep over a new baby arriving any day now, where are my priorities?

Between doing work and this forum, sleepless nights aren't that bad.

We can start by voting in November and retaking Congress! Sad, but most people could not identify reid or pelosi in a police line up (were they belong)!

Are people becoming Gollums?

Yeah that is sad; I agree with you that hopefully the Democrats will regain control of the House and shut those income-killing/corporate-servant Tea-tards down once and for all!

I was gonna bag on you but I used to be like that with videogame systems. I still get them and I still get excited but not like I used to.

Wow, we are all excited but damn, cant sleep - thats too far!! Wait till you get a boss and deadlines!
