I can't update the iwork apps. help

    hey everyone, I just received my new macbook air today, my first macbook ever, and decided to update to Yosemite, all went fine, then I see I had some apps that needed updating, they were the iwork apps, I tried and got this :

    This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled"

    now I remember having those apps when I bought the iPad air, but I un installed them. what can I do?

    The iPad versions are separate from the Mac versions.
